Place was great. Had Jacob as our server. The host team from the managers all helped to make my father's 60th birthday a success. Thank you canvas team
Great view, but not worth the wait or the price. We got the burger. They don't have gluten free buns. So we had it wrapped in lettuce. It was more like a flavorless burger salad. Red Robin is a much better place for burgers.
Canvas is best for brunch where you can take advantage of their bottomless mimosas and homemade everything. They make their own English muffins and jalapeño jam and it’s wonderful. Definitely recommend it!
We loved it here. Our server was awesome and the good, and the drinks were on point!
Service, food and drinks are excellent. We have never had a bad meal at Canvas! Love the bottomless mimosas and brunch!
We made two weeks ago a reservation for 10 people near the window to the view. And day before called to confirm it. We arrived and now one knows about it..The coffee is OK. I ordered second cup of coffee and the cup came dirty from the kitchen. The food is good. The service was good.
Had a great dine-out meal last night (3/26/20). We opted for the family meal of steak, mashed potatoes, root veggies, and chicken noodle soup. The steak was seared to perfection. The veggies had a wonderful taste. Glad to know there is still great food to be had during these difficult times. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to dine-IN again soon!
Food was good, but it was hot as hell. For the amount of money I paid I shouldn’t have been sweating like I did. I also left feeling like I could’ve been more satiated. I could’ve went to Santiago’s, paid the same amount of money, and had a better brunch experience.
Awesome food, great ambiance and the service was excellent from the personal service our attendant, Jose, provided to great support from the event coordinator Anna. This was a private event decorated by us and anything we needed they made sure they were there to offer assistance. Look forward to future events and casual date night with the hubby. 💜💯
First time here. It was absolutely fantastic. Even with all the covid nonsense we had an exceptional time. Definitely try the octopus and panna cotta if available. Build your wine and dinner around those two items and you will kit go wrong.
This place is very nice, with reasonable prices. Went there with a group of 6 for Sunday brunch, and the service and food was great. The atmosphere is awesome and the water view is amazing. I will definitely go back.
I came here with my family to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. We had a mushroom allergy and the chef personally came out to talk to us to ensure us that he would specialize the meal for us and it was delicious when it was served. On top of that, our waiter Matt was amazing and went above and beyond for our 6 year old who is at times, impossible LoL...Keep up the great work Canvas, we’ll see you soon!
Last weekend my step mom and I went to Canvas for a light dinner. Cris, our server, was super kind! We asked a million questions and he gave us great recommendations. We ordered the yuca fries and the margarita flatbread pizza - PERFECTION! From the service to the food - 10/10. Definitely going back again!
Beautiful restaurant and marketplace for the Laureate Park community. The restaurant have plenty indoor and outdoor seating for all seasons. Furthermore, it houses the Lake Nona information center and a juice bar/coffee shop with fair prices and good selection of items.
Absolutely awesome experience. Food was very tasty and the menu is diverse. Servers are very very nice. Atmosphere is very clean and open, the restaurant is full of light and there is a great view. Ordered the canvas burger is it was easily the best burger I have had. I've visited twice and both times had great experiences, driving about an hour to get there as I'm not local to the area.

The Roasted Chicken was very tasty but doesn't come with a side, so you will be paying over $30 for half a chicken. The Burger was okay but not worth $18. The Burger does come with Fries but if you want to change them for any of their other sides they will be charging you extra for it. Also tried the Yuca Fries but they were over done and too dry. The water view was the nicest part of the experience.
We had brunch there today. We ordered the steak & eggs, biscuits and gravy & kid's pancakes. Everything was delicious & cooked to perfection. The service was great too and they're very careful with distancing the tables. The restaurant is right on Lake Nona and the view is beautiful.
Definitely the wife's choice for nice decor and outside seating. I love the selection of wines and pairings that go along with it. Afterwards you can take a stroll around the open concept area and views of the lake are nice for sunset
Delicious & fresh food with a great atmosphere pretty unique to the Nona area! Great location ideal for anything from a quick bite -- relaxing lunches/dinners -- a night of drinks at their awesome bar or outdoor space overlooking the lake. The market is our neighborhood "Corner Store" and Canvas is kinda like the LP watering hole. The menu has been just about the same (with some exceptional seasonal dishes/desserts) and the food is consistent, always fresh and the staff has always been really good!Awesome choice if you're in the area and be advised - after your first visit, you'll likely be back!
Great atmosphere, yuca fries were really great but my cuban wasn't anything special..
Ate here before a flight out. A fun restaurant in a very nice area. There is a lovely view across a small lake. This place seems to be popular with the office crowd in Lake Nona. It can get a little noisy but not too bad. I had meatloaf that was outstanding. My wife had pan fried salmon that was excellent. The best part was our waiter Jimmy. Very friendly, personable, and helpful. His recommendations were spot on and made this a great experience.
During the pandemic, Canvas has offered awesome meals for pick-up. I especially like the fish dishes! The food is always more than plentiful for 2. Our food is always still hot for serving when we get home-15 minutes away. They definitely know what they are doing! Hats off to the manager, chef and staff.
Service was fantastic... chicken wings were a little red inside not really how we like them..was told 30 minutes wait time.. only had to wait 10 minutes so that was awesome... meatballs were very tasty.. roasted fish very large in size was enough for two to share.. however it was also very red inside.. just picked around red parts.. potatoes were delicious.. server was very friendly and approachable... restaurant was clean and tidy... music was great.. played alot of Janet Jackson..was amazing!! Next time we go we will just ask a head of time not to have any red in our food because it looks uncooked to us when it's red..
Great lake view beautiful facility good food but it becomes repetition after a while. Good for drinks.
I used to love this place. Went for bottomless brunch. Was seated 30 minutes late. Waiter couldn't keep track of 4 tables, got hard-boiled eggs instead of poached eggs and left sober and they cut us off early for brunch and were still serving other tables that were seated before us. I'm super disappointed.
Friendly staff, great food and large selection of aldut beverages.

Awesome place!! Come any Wednesday or Friday for live music from 6pm to 9pm. Beth at the bar will take care of you!! She's amazing. Highly recommend this place. The sunsents by the lake are just stunning! Worth the drive if you're out of Orlando.
I am down here from Charlotte Nc my grandson is in hospital. My meatloaf was good just not hot. Veggies were hard. I mean really hard couldn't chew it eat. I just love veggies.Make food hot and veggies that can be chewed.
Very nice restaurant that sits with a beautiful lake view while you eat brunch at there establishment.
Located in a lovely waterside area of Lake Nona, Canvas has a great open atmosphere and a menu that touches on both Latin and American favorites. The “crackers” given instead of bread to start are phenomenal. Covered in Old Bay seasoning and light enough to eat 100 of them at once, they are the perfect before meal treat. The twice cooked yuca fries were also delightful with great presentation and yummy flavorful sauce to dip them in. I had the canvas burger as my main and it was a perfectly cooked burger with excellent fries. Service was really good and I can’t wait to come back soon!
Great food, decent prices, and a cool glass mosaic art pieces, very Instagram-able. Canvas knows its demographic and caters to it well.
Amazing location, such a great view! Love that there is a variety of seating. Really friendly, spot-on service. Good for families, date night, girls night out, whatever you want. Great food!
Our go-to for fresh salads! Canvas has the best salads in the area, very flavorful and good portion size. The honey-maple vinaigrette is fantastic. We have ordered for delivery and pick-up several times and always enjoy our meals. We would eventually like to dine at the restaurant and try some of the entrees. Eclectic menu and a nice variety to choose from. Highly recommend! Kim Jordan
I loved the place! They have a beautiful view, a cozy ambiance and the food was delicious. I ate the Lobster Benedict. You have to try that! And the staff was nice. Out waitress was Ashley and she gave us the best service I have received yet.
We had a sweet, beautiful day today at Canvas. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, beautiful. Gorgeous view, friendly service, tasty food, we even brought a cake and celebrated a birthday and everyone cheered, we will definitely come back, thank you for a beautiful afternoon, you guys rock!
A fabulous place! Don’t get it wrong: the chilaquiles aren’t the typical way that they are made in México, BUT the chilaquiles platter is absolutely delicious! Bottomless mimosas are a MUST for Sunday brunch. Jackie is a GREAT server and people like her make you want to go back and visit again and again.
Probably wouldn’t eat here again. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes which were bad. Very bad. They tasted like frozen pancakes that were microwaved. The lemon glaze was way too tart. I usually love pancakes but I couldn’t even finish my meal.Service was great and the staff was nice enough. I went early Sunday morning and the place was pretty dead. I requested the french toast but apparently, that’s a brunch item and is only available after 10am. Pretty strange.Anyway, add it all up and I’m not interested in Canvas. I might consider trying the French toast before truly writing it off, but if the pancakes are any indication (how do you mess up pancakes?), it’s probably best to just pass altogether.
Very awesome food. The main course was awesome in flavor and presentation. Some very good choices on the menu. I had, among other things, the wild boar pasta, which had plenty of meat in it and some delicious flavors. I also had the braised octopus, I really enjoyed that. It was very well prepared, looked exciting and appetizing, it even enticed some of the less adventurous eaters to try some
While I want to keep Family Meals a best kept secret I have to compliment the staff and chef. This is our second experience with Family Meal carryout. The food is amazing and I appreciate the service. It's hard to cook for 2, portions are too big, I lack a spice or two, plus I would never made fried chicken or mojo pork (tender and juicy) at home. The meals were full of flavor, perfectly packaged so that only the juices that should run together do deliciously. We'll be back again and can't wait to see what is on next weeks menu!
Beautiful view over the lake. Nice atmosphere and bar. Indoor, glass enclosed porch over water and outside dinning areas. Most items are to fancy for my taste. I ordered a burger with lettuce tomato ketchup, mustard and mayo with fresh crispy fries. I waited over 5 minutes to get ketchup, mustard and mayo which I asked for when I ordered, while my burger got cold.
Had Xmas day lunch here. We had a great waiter who discussed his mustangs with my son, also an owner. The service came with a smile and the food was good. They had a wonderful Xmas tree so we took family photos there. Parking was also easy and there was a view.
We had a personal situation happen and the manager James took such great care of our whole table. Great place and such great care, the food was awesome as well.Thank you again James for exceptional service.
I really love this place!! Very elegant and great food. José made our experience a very delightful one. He is AMAZING!! Very friendly and explains everything very thoroughly. Highly recommended.
My friend and I went to Canvas during lunch to eat a while back and it was okay. I enjoyed the environment more than the food. I went there a second time in the evening last night and was not satisfied at all. I could hear both the couples conversations because our tables were extremely close. I had to watch myself as well. This will be my last time. I generally will visit a restaurant twice before writing it off. I notice that sometimes with restaurants. You can go to a hole in a wall and have awesome food. Or you can go to a well paved environment with jazz and class and the food is pretty much basic, with the extra garnishes. Our server was more than helpful though. He was a sweet, attentive guy.
Found a table in less than 25 min on Valentine's day (Scored!). Great selection of food items on menu and plenty of options for beverages ( alcohol too). What we ordered was very savory and in was served hot (Yay!). Our beverages were refilled without having to ask (Awesome!). The environment was cool: good for family, great for company, kind of romantic for couples. Hip and modern... Would come back for more.
This place is great. The food was very good, I got the chicken sandwhich and it looked great and tasted a bit better. This place has a lot of potential. Highly recommend for brunch, or a date.
Great clean place. I dont recommend the toasted Cuban but it is also the cheapest thing on the menu. Kind servers. Nice live music. Folky vibe with a great view if you get the right seats.
